“My role as a student in the implementation of NSTP”

… promote the common good, conserve our patrimony, and secure to ourselves and our posterity, the blessings of independence and democracy under the rule of law …

                Filipino people stands by what they believed are right and can result to the betterment of the society. NSTP is one proof that we cared. Giving students a chance to show what we can do, and how we can make a change to the problems that all the people are commonly dealing with, is one of the aims of the NSTP.

I do believe in what Dr. Jose P. Rizal said “KABATAAN ANG PAG-ASA NG BAYAN”, that’s not debatable, for we know that that is true. And as one of the entrusted youth, I have to take responsibility and be active in whatever things I can do with my ability to be of service not just to my fellow countrymen but to the nation.

                GOOD EDUCATION: I am proud to be a Filipino citizen, for Filipinos are very different from the other race, kind, hospitable, and respectable.  As a student I can prove and I can show what I can do to help others specially those who are in need.

                DRUG EDUCATION: Drug addicts, are very rampant nowadays, and it’s very sad to say that most of the population addicted to drugs are youth. We can’t blame anyone or them why they indulged in that thing, but we can still help them by giving them proper education and teaching them what drugs can do to their health, since I am a student, we can impart our knowledge to those who are lacking guidance and knowledge about this thing. 

                NATIONAL SECURITY: Not only those people carrying guns are responsible to stop possible crimes, even it is a small or big crime, we have to take part of it, even how little it just is to solve the problem or we prevent it in the least way we can do. That’s why we are sent to school to earn courage to face things and be educated of what is right and wrong, so why be scared?

                ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION: Nothing is constant in this world except change. We are living on a changing world, from paradise to a world gradually becoming a wasteland. The paradise was left to us to be taken care of, not to be destroyed, but since we can’t undone the things that we had done in the past few millennia we can still prevent the total destruction that may happen, by supporting and be an active member of the CLEAN AND GREEN program of the government and do the things that can still save mother earth like putting the proper garbage in the proper trash can, planting of trees, etc.

                DISASTER AWARENESS, PREPAREDNESS AND MANAGEMENT: As what I said earlier, we are changing in all aspects, and as we change the world change, and we suffer more violent reactions from mother earth, that’s why as early as now, a college freshmen, we should be prepared in whatever ways, cause we don’t know what will happen in the future or even in a little span of time.
